Our accidental Homestead
Share
Hi y'all! Thank you for being apart of our journey as we learn and grow as homesteaders. Our accidental homestead turned into a passion of mine to share with the community.
We like to do live in flips as investment strategies and this was our first home that had some land. So I called Clark County to see what the land is zoned for, well... because I am a curious cat, they said this home is zoned for 2 large live stock and 20 chickens.
So Scottie buys me 4 chickens for our anniversary in 2018. The rest is history. My obsession with chickens went bananas that led to adding a turkey, peacocks, and now a mini HighPark and a mini pony. Update: found out I am severely allergic to horses so we donated our mini horse to a nonprofit that does horse assisted therapy.
So much to learn and I am taking you all along the journey. :)
