Pausing our farm stand

There have been so many exciting changes here at Semper Fi Homestead over the last year, and I wanted to share a little update on one of them.

If you've been with us for a while, you probably remember our little farm stand. It was something we poured our hearts into. We loved offering farm fresh eggs, seedlings, vegetables, homemade goods, and giving our community a place to shop locally while supporting our family's homestead.

Then life took us in a direction we never expected.

When we launched Semper Fi Homestead Nonprofit, our priorities shifted. Building a nonprofit from the ground up required countless hours of paperwork, planning, fundraising, partnerships, volunteer coordination, and creating meaningful programs for our community. As much as we loved our farm stand, we knew we couldn't do everything well at the same time.

So we made the difficult decision to press pause.

It wasn't because we stopped believing in the farm stand. In fact, it was quite the opposite. We simply chose to invest our time into building something that we hoped would make an even greater impact for our community.

Over the past several months, we've been incredibly blessed. We've been able to host Cow Cuddles for a Cause, free and low cost homesteading classes, community events, and partnerships with other local organizations. We've met so many amazing people who believe in what we're building, and we're so thankful for every single one of you.

Now, we're finally at a place where we can begin bringing our farm stand back.

Not just the way it was before, but even better.

Our vision is to completely rebuild it into a beautiful little destination where you can find farm fresh eggs, seasonal produce, plants, handmade products, candles, local goods, and other homestead favorites. We want it to reflect everything we've learned over the past year while continuing to support both our family homestead and the mission of our nonprofit.

This won't happen overnight. Like everything we've built here, it will happen one step at a time. We'll be adding new products, improving the space, and creating a farm stand that truly feels like home.

Thank you for being patient with us through every season of growth. Whether you've purchased eggs, attended a class, cuddled our cows, volunteered, donated, shared our posts, or simply cheered us on from afar, you've helped make this dream possible.

We're excited for this next chapter, and we can't wait to rebuild our little farm stand with all of you alongside us.
